The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Dekina Local Government Area, Kogi State, Ibrahim Huseini, has been suspended indefinitely.\r\n\r\nHuseini, before his indefinite suspension, was accused of misappropriating N19 million from the party’s account and issuing threats to members. He was also accused of engaging in anti-party activities during the last gubernatorial election in November 2023.\r\n\r\nThe suspension of Huseini was contained in a letter dated January 21, 2024, in which officials of PDP in Dekina LGA passed a vote of no confidence in the embattled chairman.
